Egyptian arm of the global Crédit Agricole Group, Crédit Agricole Egypt, has partnered with Infinity to expand individual access to solar energy. The agreement enables Infinity customers to access solar loans with preferential rates and up to seven-year terms. It supports Egypt’s Vision 2030 and Central Bank-led sustainable finance efforts. The aim is to make solar energy more affordable and easier for homes to use. The partnership also helps people understand how solar power saves money and helps the environment. Infinity has built major solar projects, including part of the 1,465 MW Benban Solar Park.Itoperates Egypt’s largest EV charging network across 16 governorates. Crédit Agricole Egypt was the first bank in North Africa to earn LEED Platinum certification. It also signed a green finance facility with EBRD and GCF. The collaboration links financial access with clean energy goals for broader climate impact at the household level.
