Catalyst Power secures DRW investment to expand C&I clean energy

Catalyst Power Holdings LLC, a US-based provider of clean energy and retail power solutions for C&I clients, has secured a strategic equity investment from DRW Energy Trading LLC. The investment is expected to support Catalyst Power’s expansion in energy supply, Connected Microgrid systems, solar, storage, and combined heat and power (CHP) offerings. Catalyst Power has been using its proprietary technology platform to identify and manage energy projects for middle-market businesses. According to Catalyst Power, DRW’s financial and risk expertise will strengthen its operations in dynamic power and emissions markets. DRW Energy Trading, a division of DRW Holdings LLC, is active in North American energy markets and offers trading, logistics, and supply services. Catalyst Power is also backed by BP Energy Partners, which invests in energy and infrastructure companies across the lower-middle market.
