Industry veterans launch Aquila Energy to advance solar and battery storage

Aquila Energy, LLC started in the US solar and battery storage market, founded by experienced industry professionals. Its leaders had worked together at Borrego Solar and later at Coldwell Solar, where they received funding from Dave and Sean Hood to establish the company.Aquila worked to improve project planning and execution with engineering expertise. The team checked site conditions, environmental factors, and regulations before designing projects. They partnered with leading manufacturers to ensure good quality and cost efficiency. Using Lean Six Sigma methods, they aimed to reduce waste, improve safety, and maintain high standards.
