Schneider Electric, a France-based energy management company, has partnered with Germany’s BayWa r.e. to expand US access to Schneider Home. BayWa r.e., which has a large US network, said the collaboration has improved procurement and simplified system components. Schneider Electric said Schneider Home has integrated solar, storage, EV chargers, smart panels, and devices into one app. The system also includes Homeline and QO load centers, breakers, and wiring devices to ease installations. The partnership is anticipated to strengthen Schneider Electric’s presence in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, and Texas. As per BayWa r.e., the US solar market has added 8.6 GW DC capacity in Q3 2024, showing strong demand.
