Astronergy, a China-based manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, was listed as a Tier 1 PV module supplier in S&P Global Commodity Insights’ first 2025 Tier 1 Cleantech Companies list, which established a benchmark for reliability and long-term performance in the clean energy supply chain. The assessment covered factors such as market presence, production capacity, geographic diversification, and financial performance. Astronergy, founded in 2006, has developed more than 10 manufacturing bases and operates across over 140 countries and regions. Astronergy reported that cumulative global module shipments have exceeded 150 GW, with 18.5 GW supplied in the first half of 2025. Astronergy stated that its facilities in Yancheng and Jiuquan were certified as zero-carbon factories, while other sites were recognized through industry sustainability rating systems.
