China-based solar trackers and mounting systems supplier, Arctech, is now FINAME certified in Brazil through the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) for its 1P tracker. This certification means that BNDES-financed financing options are now available for Arctech products, creating the potential for project viability across Brazil and other Latin American markets. Arctech says that its domestic manufacturing and Brazilian supply chain integration played significant roles in achieving the certification. Arctech stated that the 1P trackers are designed with smart backtracking and control algorithms to support deployment on complex terrains. The certification is expected to facilitate expansion into countries including Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Central America. Arctech has delivered more than 60GW of solar solutions across over 40 countries and employs over 60 professionals in Latin America. The company said that FINAME approval aligns with regional goals to improve local manufacturing capacity and increase access to clean energy financing.
