The Minister added that rooftop solar panels with an aggregate capacity of 130 MW are being expedited for government buildings, and bankers were requested to extend support for the PM Surya Ghar scheme. He further stated that solar rooftops are being provided free of charge to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe households to reduce their electricity burden.
