Green Rack Solar, a US-based residential solar installer working in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, became a member of the Amicus Solar Cooperative. The cooperative is an over 80-member network of US solar businesses that provides an environment for collaboration and sharing industry knowledge. According to Green Rack Solar, the membership is expected to improve service delivery and expand operational capabilities while maintaining regional focus. The company operates under Civic Renewables, a national platform formed in 2024 and backed by GEF Capital Partners. Civic Renewables has integrated several local solar firms to support scale, resource sharing, and strategic coordination. By joining Amicus, Green Rack Solar is gaining access to national-level tools and peer knowledge to strengthen its ability to serve residential customers in its core markets.
