Altus Power, based in US, has acquired three operational ground-mounted solar projects in Florida totaling 8.6 MW from Origis Energy. The projects supply electricity to a local utility under long-term PPAs. Altus Power, which develops and operates distributed solar assets across 26 US states, said the acquisition supports its planned expansion and ongoing collaboration with Origis Energy. The new assets add to Altus Power’s 1.1 GW portfolio serving corporate, municipal, and residential clients US-wide. According to Altus Power, the acquisition strengthens its footprint in Florida, where commercial and utility-scale solar deployment are on the rise. Altus Power added that portfolio growth supports stable, cost-efficient renewable electricity and reflects ongoing consolidation in distributed generation amid rising decarbonization and grid-resilience goals. Earlier, Altus Power had purchase solar assets of about 47.8 MW of solar assets in states across the US.
