AIKO, a China-based solar technology manufacturer, has secured a 1 GW contract under China Datang Corporation’s 2025-2026 procurement plan. As per China Datang Corporation’s procurement framework, the contract was awarded for large-scale solar deployment using n-type ABC module technology. According to AIKO, its ABC modules generate 6-10% more power per unit area than TOPCon and achieve 75% bifacial exposure efficiency. The modules reduce installed space by 5% while maintaining the same capacity, lowering balance-of-system costs by 3% and increasing return on investment by 5%. AIKO stated that these modules are designed for challenging environments, ensuring high efficiency across diverse installations. AIKO has production facilities in Zhuhai, Yiwu, and Jinan and is expanding its total manufacturing capacity to 100 GW globally.
