Actis, a UK-based investment firm focused on sustainable infrastructure, has recently closed its second Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund (ALLIF2) with $1.7 billion in commitments. The fund is targeting brownfield assets in growth markets across Asia, Latin America and EMEA regions. Actis has stated that about 50% of the capital has already been deployed and is supported by an active pipeline exceeding $2 billion. In December 2024, ALLIF2 has signed two transactions to expand its electricity transmission platform in Brazil. In March 2025, it has acquired Stride Climate Investments, which includes 21 solar generation assets in India. The fund is focusing on sectors such as renewable energy, digital infrastructure, toll roads, and district cooling. Assets are being selected for long-term contracted revenues with protections such as inflation-indexed tariffs, availability-based payments, and currency or interest rate hedging.
