Acme Solar FY25 profit rises 131% to ₹251 crore

India’s Acme Solar has added 1,200 MW of capacity, including a Jaisalmer project, and reported higher power output, revenue, and profit with expanded project contracts.

India-based solar company, Acme Solar has reported a 130.7% year-on-year increase in profit after tax to ₹251 crore (~ $30.1 million) for the year ending March 2025. It commissioned 1,200 MW of solar capacity, including a large-scale project in Jaisalmer, and added 165 MW in May 2025 under the Sikar project. Annual revenue rose 7.4% to ₹1,575 crore (~ $189 million). The company secured 1,900 MW in new projects and signed power purchase agreements for 1,890 MW, bringing the total contracted portfolio to 6,970 MW. Power generation rose 55.2% to 4,013 million units, and the capacity utilisation factor increased to 25.6%. Debt refinancing of ₹7,700 crore (~ $924 million) reduced average interest costs, and ₹16,500 crore (~ $1.98 billion) was arranged for under-construction capacity. In Q4, revenue reached ₹539 crore ($64.7 million), EBITDA was ₹488 crore (~ $58.6 million), and PAT turned positive at ₹122 crore (~ $14.6 million).
