Madison Energy Infrastructure, a leading clean infrastructure platform with over 500 MW of assets across 25 states, has acquired Sun Tribe’s commercial assets, pipeline, and development team, solidifying the partnership. Sun Tribe Solar, known for pioneering the K-12 solar market in Virginia, will now focus on utility and community-scale solar projects in the Appalachia, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions. Rich Allevi, formerly president of Sun Tribe Solar, will lead the commercial development team under Madison. This acquisition enables Madison to expand Sun Tribe Solar’s efforts to solarize schools across its footprint, integrating origination, development, construction, and operation of projects. The Solar Empowered Schools program will continue its student-focused initiatives, under Madison’s ownership.
