Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Renewables division has secured orders from a major Middle Eastern developer to construct two large-scale PV plants totaling 3.5 GW. The orders encompass grid interconnections, pooling substations, and overhead transmission lines. Detailed engineering and initial construction will commence shortly. The company claims L&T recently won a solar-cum-storage plant order in India. With these new orders, L&T’s renewables portfolio will reach a cumulative capacity of 22 GWp, including solar and wind projects.
