Los Angeles recently inaugurated a 1.5 MW solar array in Panorama City. The installation, which is part of the LADWP’s Feed-in Tariff (FiT) program, transforms rooftops into solar power plants, selling generated power to the city’s grid. Business leaders and community partners highlighted the FiT program’s success since its 2013 launch at the occasion. The Los Angeles Business Council, instrumental in bringing solar initiatives to pollution-affected areas, hosted the event. The project is developed by Valta Energy and supported by building owner Rexford Industrial.
