LONGi strengthens silicon supply with Ferroglobe partnership

LONGi has announced a long-term supply agreement with Ferroglobe, a global producer of silicon metal and ferroalloys, to supply high-quality quartzite and metallurgical grade silicon to LONGi, effective January 1, 2024.  This supports LONGi’s strategy to enhance purchases from Western silicon material suppliers. The partnership underscores both companies’ dedication to operational excellence and traceability across the supply chain, from quartzite to solar panels. LONGi operates globally with manufacturing and sales presence in over 150 countries and regions.
