LONGi breaks own solar efficiency record

LONGi announced a new record of 34.6% efficiency for crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cells at SNEC 2024 in Shanghai. This achievement, verified by the European Solar Test Installation (ESTI), surpasses LONGi’s previous record of 33.9% set in November 2023. The 0.7% improvement using stacked cellsmarks a significant milestone in solar technology, showcasing LONGi’s ongoing commitment to innovation and efficiency in solar cell development.
