Leyline Renewable Capital, a US-based provider of debt capital for renewable energy developers, announced it has successfully realized its investment in Sunnynook Solar Energy Inc. with Canadian firm Westbridge Renewable Energy Corp. Westbridge recently completed the sale of its 75%-owned Special Area 2 solar power project in Alberta, Canada. The project, with a capacity of up to 332 MW, was sold to a subsidiary of METLEN Energy & Metals. Westbridge repaid CAD 18,405,650 (~$13.4 million) in loan facilities tied to the project, financed by Leyline's lending entities. Leyline specializes in pre-construction financing, enabling developers to scale projects and expand renewable energy capacity.
