Levanta Renewables, under Actis, has acquired a 90% controlling interest in a 139.4 MWp solar project portfolio in Thailand, marking its first venture into the Thai market. This acquisition from Super Energy Corporation Public Co. Ltd. and its subsidiary includes 24 ground-mounted solar facilities across four provinces, each with a 25-year power purchase agreement with the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand. This transaction aligns with Levanta’s goal of achieving 1.5 GW of operational capacity in Southeast Asia. Actis, a prominent investor in sustainable infrastructure across Asia, now supports nine energy generation enterprises, totaling 8.5 GW in installed capacity, with 5.6 GW dedicated to renewable energy projects.
