Korkia and Econous Green Energy, a renewable energy developer based in Romania, have announced a partnership to develop 600 MW of solar energy in Romania. Initial projects are expected to be licensed and ready for construction by 2025. This 600 MW photovoltaic capacity will produce an estimated 780,000 MWh of electricity annually, providing renewable energy for approximately 200,000 European households once operational. The projects aim to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 300,000 kg annually, equivalent to the emissions of roughly 120,000 cars per year.
