Kiwa PVEL has published its 10th annual PV Module Reliability Scorecard, which presents a comprehensive evaluation of solar module performance derived from its Product Qualification Program (PQP). The 2024 Scorecard recognizes 53 manufacturers and 388 model types as “Top Performers” across various tests, with eight demonstrating excellence in all categories. Notable updates include the addition of a new Top Performer category for hail resilience, more stringent criteria for LID+LETID and PAN performance, and the inclusion of Incidence Angle Modifier (IAM) test outcomes. This year’s Scorecard showcases significant progress in PV manufacturing and offers valuable insights for purchasers. The complete list of Top Performers is available online in a searchable database.
