Ireland-based Kingspan Group plc, a leading provider of high-performance insulation and building envelope solutions, and China-based LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., have formed a strategic partnership to develop and promote building integrated (BIPV) and building applied (BAPV) PV systems, the latter mostly refers to “retrofit – integrated” into the building after construction is complete. The collaboration combines Kingspan's building solutions expertise with LONGi's solar technology leadership.
