M Renewables completes Irish solar farms

Keppel DC REIT and MYTILINEOS Energy & Metals have signed two long-term PPAs to supply renewable energy from two Irish solar farms to Keppel DC REIT’s Dublin facilities. These solar farms, located in Gorey and Goresbridge, have a combined capacity of 14.28 MW and are expected to generate 13.6 GWh of electricity annually, reducing CO2 emissions by over 6,250 tons per year. This will meet approximately 92% of the power needs of Keppel DC REIT’s Dublin data centers from renewable sources. MYTILINEOS’ M Renewables, responsible for developing and constructing the solar farms, will provide about 11% of the total power requirements for these data centers upon completion in summer 2024.
