Germany-based Juwi GmbH, a subsidiary of MVV Energie AG, has agreed to sell a 267 MW PV portfolio in Greece to Foresight and Mirova. The portfolio, acquired by Juwi Hellas in November 2023 from Hive Energy Ltd., comprises three clusters located in Fthiotida and Larissa, Central Greece. Juwi will act as the EPC and O&M contractor for the projects. Construction is set to commence in August 2024, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2026. The projects will feature approximately 430,000 bifacial solar modules, 800 string inverters, and 16,000 single-axis trackers, designed to generate around 515 million kWh of clean electricity annually—enough to power over 100,000 Greek households. This investment marks Mirova’s third venture in Greece, while the 267 MW portfolio will be Juwi’s largest project to date.
