India-based Juniper Green Energy has inked two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for hybrid renewable energy projects with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) and NTPC Limited. The combined capacity of these projects is 480 MW. The GUVNL Hybrid Phase 1 project in Gujarat will feature 140 MW of solar and 50 MW of wind power, generating 412 GWh of electricity annually and reducing CO2 emissions by 384,067 tonnes, powering around 82,016 households. The NTPC Hybrid Tranche 1 project, located in Gujarat and Maharashtra, will consist of 210 MW of solar and 80 MW of wind power, generating 633 GWh annually and reducing CO2 emissions by 590,810 tonnes, providing clean energy to 126,165 households.
