JinkoSolar, in partnership with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) of India, has secured a contract to supply 1 GW of PV modules for Saudi Arabia’s NEOM green hydrogen project. Managed by NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), a joint venture of ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM, the project aims to produce green hydrogen and ammonia for global export, supported by an $8.4 billion investment. L&T previously secured a $2.779 billion EPC contract from NEOM in December 2022. Solar-LIT has also been engaged since December 2023 to provide robotic cleaning systems for the NEOM green hydrogen plant. This initiative harnesses renewable energy to foster sustainable hydrogen and ammonia production for international markets.
