Jamaica seeking bids for 298 MW renewable energy project

Jamaica Public Service Company seeks bids from EPC contractors for a 115 MW solar, 171.5 MW BESS, and 12 MW onshore wind project. Construction will occur in phases between 2025 and 2027. Solar plant construction begins in Q4 2025, BESS construction starts in Q3 2025 with completion in phases, and wind plant construction begins in Q1 2026.
