JA Solar has been active in the region, with contributions such as a 1.25 GW module supply agreement for the Abydos Phase II project, Africa’s largest PV+storage initiative, in partnership with AMEA Power and CEEC. Additionally, the company’s investment in a manufacturing facility in Oman highlights its role in supporting renewable energy development in the MENA region.
