JA Solar sets new shipment benchmark

JA Solar reported remarkable FY2023 results, recording an operating revenue of RMB 81.556 billion, marking an 11.74% increase from the previous year, alongside a net profit of RMB 7.039 billion, reflecting a 27.21% rise. Shipments for the year reached 57 GW, bringing cumulative shipments as of Q1 2024 to 201 GW. Looking ahead to 2024, the company aims to surpass 100 GW in production capacities for silicon wafers, cells, and modules. JA Solar anticipates a projected shipment target of 85-95 GW for 2024.
