Three companies - SolarDuck, a specialist in floating solar panels, Green Arrow Capital, an Italian investment firm, and New Developments, an Italian developer - are collaborating on a unique project in the Mediterranean. This 540MW wind-solar farm, located off the coast of Corigliano-Rossano in Calabria, Italy, will be the first of its kind in the region. It will combine traditional wind turbines with a120 MW floating solar panel system. The project is expected to generate significant amounts of clean energy, with the floating solar panels alone producing over 160 GWh annually.
