Three companies – SolarDuck, a specialist in floating solar panels, Green Arrow Capital, an Italian investment firm, and New Developments, an Italian developer – are collaborating on a unique project in the Mediterranean. This 540 MW wind-solar farm, located off the coast of Corigliano-Rossano in Calabria, Italy, will be the first of its kind in the region. It will combine traditional wind turbines with a 120 MW floating solar panel system. The project is expected to generate significant amounts of clean energy, with the floating solar panels alone producing over 160 GWh annually.
