Ministry Of of External Affairs (MEA), India and the International Solar Alliance (ISA) have signed a Project Implementation Agreement to execute solar energy projects in Fiji, Comoros, Madagascar, and Seychelles. With $2 million funding from India, these initiatives will focus on solarising healthcare facilities, cold storage, and water pumping systems, addressing energy challenges in underserved areas. The projects aim to enhance energy access, reduce emissions, and create employment, aligning with Indo-Pacific sustainability goals and the Quad’s Wilmington Declaration to strengthen clean energy supply chains.
