India-based Insolation Green Energy, a subsidiary of Insolation Energy, received board approval to establish a renewable energy manufacturing unit on 45 acres in Mohasa, Babai, Madhya Pradesh. The facility will produce 3 GW of solar cells, 4 GW of solar modules, and 24,000 MT of aluminum frames in two phases. With an investment of INR 1,800 crore (~$211.95 million), this fourth facility, the first outside Rajasthan, is expected to create over 1,600 jobs. The company has also raised INR400 crore (~$47.10 million) through a preferential allotment and is working on its third facility to increase solar module capacity to 4 GW and aluminum frame production to 12,000 MT by April 2025.
