Rajasthan Renewable awards 77 MW rooftop solar contract to Insolation Energy

India’s Insolation Energy Limited reported that it has secured a contract worth INR 500.5 crore (~$59.49 million) from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd (RREC). The contract covers the design, supply, installation, and long-term maintenance of rooftop solar power systems on state government buildings in Jaipur (67 MW), Ajmer (5 MW), and Kota (5 MW). The installation is scheduled to be completed within 18 months. The agreement includes INR 140.37 crore (~$16.68 million) allocated for 25 years of maintenance, with a 3% annual fee escalation starting from the second year after commissioning. This project follows a ₹208.32 crore (~$24.76 million) contract with Zetwerk Manufacturing, bringing the company’s total new orders in 2024 to ₹708.82 crore (~$84.26 million). The project will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).
