US-based logistics real estate business, INDUS Realty Trust,Inc has completed the installation of rooftop solar energy systems at two buildings within its New England Tradeport logistics park. The solar arrays, consisting of 2,560 high-efficiency modules, are estimated to produce approximately 1,669,300 kWh of clean energy annually. These projects will offset approximately 1,166 metric tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to the emissions from about 277 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles driven for one year. The projects capitalize on incentives available through the Connecticut Non-Residential Energy Solutions (NRES) program. The project was undertaken in collaboration with Verogy and Titan Energy and is expected to benefit from financial incentives offered by the Connecticut NRES program.
