New Delhi-headquartered WattPower has entered a strategic alliance with Solarium Green Energy Limited to expand solar adoption in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, focusing on the KUSUM scheme. The partnership aimed to support decentralised rural electrification and improve solar access for farmers and small enterprises. Solarium was appointed as WattPower’s Value Added Partner, managing regional deployment and last-mile connectivity. WattPower agreed to supply modular, high-efficiency solar systems tailored for off-grid and challenging locations. The alliance built on an earlier working relationship between the two firms. WattPower focused on grid-compatible, reliable systems designed for long-term use. Solarium contributed to local implementation expertise. Both companies expected the collaboration to enhance solar-powered irrigation and agricultural electrification across India’s interior regions, aligning with government efforts to promote clean energy in farming.
