Waaree Solar Americas, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has secured a 540 MW solar module order from a US-based developer of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. The order will be supplied in two phases, with 270 MW scheduled for 2025 and another 270 MW during 2027-2028. Waaree Energies reported consolidated net profit of INR 618.91 crore (~ $ 74.07 million) for the fourth quarter of FY25, reflecting a 34.10% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at INR 4,003.93 crore (~ $ 479.33 million, marking a year-on-year rise of 36.38%. The company’s shares closed marginally higher at ₹2,947.85(~ $ 35.27)on the BSE. The order adds to Waaree’s international operations, which include supplying solar modules and solutions to over 25 countries worldwide.
