Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, based in Mumbai, has secured an EPC contract worth ₹345 crore (~ $41.4 million) for a 300 MW AC / 435 MW DC ground-mounted solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The order was awarded by a domestic renewable energy generation company, and the project is expected to be completed in the financial year 2025–26. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of the solar plant, along with the development of a 33/220 kV pooling substation. The project will also feature robotic cleaning systems to enhance long-term plant performance and reduce operations and maintenance costs. This contract marks a significant addition to Waaree’s turnkey solar execution portfolio in India.
