Waaree Energies, Indian module manufacturer, has commenced commercial inverter production operations in Gujarat. According to the company, two solar inverter manufacturing lines with combined capacity exceeding 3 GW have become operational. The inverter lines were established through Waaree Power at the Sarodhi-Valsad manufacturing facility in Gujarat. Each solar inverter line has been designed with an annual manufacturing capacity of 1.525 GW. Waaree Energies said that commercial operations became effective from December 29, 2025. The company stated it's ALMM-approved manufacturing capacity has increased to 20.17 GW following commissioning. This approved capacity figure included 3.73 GW associated with Indosolar manufacturing assets. The inverter production addition has supported localisation objectives while reducing reliance on imported power electronics.
