Waaree Energies, Indian solar module manufacturer, has received ALMM List-II approval for solar cells. The company said that the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has approved it's high-efficiency solar cells. According to Waaree Energies, the approval appeared in the third ALMM List-II revision notified on December 15, 2025. The approved manufacturing facility is located at Degam, Chikhli, in Gujarat’s Navsari district. The facility has an annual approved capacity of 5.25 GW for solar cell manufacturing. This capacity has included 3,923 MW of N-type TOPCon cells and 1,328 MW of P-type PERC bifacial cells. Waaree Energies was already included in ALMM List-I for solar modules before this approval.

Waaree Energies India has been included in MNRE ALMM List-II for 5.25 GW solar cell capacity at its Gujarat facility, covering N-type TOPCon and P-type PERC cells.
