Vikram Solar Limited, an India-based manufacturer of PV modules, has signed an INR 2,000 crore (~ $220 million) procurement agreement with Jupiter International Limited for 2 GW of solar cells. The agreement, executed recently, includes high-efficiency TOPCon and mono PERC variants aligned with Vikram Solar’s manufacturing requirements. Jupiter International, an India-based solar cell producer, has secured the supply arrangement aligned with Vikram Solar’s manufacturing pipeline and planned production requirements. According to the announcement, the procurement framework has supported domestic sourcing while ensuring continuity of cell supply linked to module manufacturing activities.
