India-based Vibgyor Energy, a solar solution provider, has signed a 22.5 MW solar-plus-storage Power Purchase Agreement with Varun Beverages Limited. The project will supply power to plants in Kota, Jaipur, Alwar, Jodhpur and Bhiwadi. Battery storage is included, which has reduced grid dependence and improved energy reliability. Varun Beverages and PepsiCo’s main bottling partner in India, planning to use 30% renewable energy by 2030. Its agreement with Vibgyor Energy supports this goal by adding clean power across operations.
