TP Solar, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has recently surpassed 4 GW in solar module production and 1.4 GW in solar cell output at its Tamil Nadu manufacturing facility. The plant, built to meet India’s Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) norms, uses AI-driven automation and advanced technologies such as Mono PERC and TOPCon. It supplies modules for Tata Power’s rooftop systems, utility-scale solar farms, and hybrid energy parks, as well as third-party installations across India. The company aims to reach 3.7 GW in solar cell and 3.725 GW in module production in FY26.
