Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited (TNGECL), India’s state renewable energy implementing agency, has issued a Request for Selection (RfS) for 20 MW grid-connected rooftop PV installations on government buildings. The selection will be conducted under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model on a net feed-in mechanism through tariff-based competitive bidding. The EMD has been fixed at INR 25,00,000 (~ $27,500). Tender document download will close on April 7, 2026. The pre-bid meeting has been scheduled on March 11, 2026, and bid submission will run from March 25, 2026 to April 7, 2026. Bid opening is set for April 8, 2026, and bid validity has been defined as 270 days. As per the RfS, bidder eligibility and qualification requirements must comply strictly with the conditions outlined in the tender documents.
