Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, an India-based renewable energy developer, has hosted ‘Scale Sustainably with Tata Power’ in Pune recently for C&I consumers in Maharashtra. The initiative is focused on enabling solar and BESS adoption across sectors including steel, automotive, auto ancillary, data centres, engineering and manufacturing. It outlines 3 to 5 year payback periods and 25+ years of asset life for industrial installations. In the first nine months of FY26, the company has commissioned 126.33 MWp rooftop capacity and 100 MW of group captive installations in Maharashtra. It has delivered a 200 MW PV project in Jamkhed and a 100 MW group captive solar project for NTT Global. Nationwide renewable installations have crossed 11.6 GW, including 6.1 GW operational capacity comprising 4.9 GW solar and 1.2 GW wind, while cumulative rooftop capacity has reached 4.2 GWp through over 3.5 lakh installations.
