India-headquartered Tata Motors signed a power purchase agreement with Tata Power Renewable Energy to co-develop a 131 MW wind-solar hybrid project. The project was planned to generate approximately 300 million units of electricity annually and offset over 2 lakh tons of COâ‚‚ emissions each year. It was designed to supply green energy to Tata Motors’ six manufacturing plants in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
