Surya Roshni, an India-based manufacturer of lighting and steel products, has stated that it will install solar power plants at its manufacturing facilities in Kashipur and Malanpur. Surya Roshini has confirmed that the combined capacity will exceed 3 MWp as per its disclosure. The company has added that the planned investment of ₹ 10.15 crore was allocated for system deployment across both units. Each system was designed to supply part of the internal electricity requirement. Surya Roshni has mentioned that the plants were expected to generate about 36.5 lakh units annually, and the company’s managing director Raju Bista said that these installations were part of its operational improvement efforts.
