Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), an Indian government border security organisation, has invited bids for off-grid power systems. The e-tender involves Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of four off-grid PV power stations with individual capacity of 15 KW. These PV installations are planned at four border outposts under SHQ SSB Bongaigaon jurisdiction. According to the bid notice, the total estimated cost of the works is INR 6,787,593 (~ $74,664), the EMD is fixed at INR 135,752 (~ $1,493), and the stipulated completion period is 180 days. The tender was issued by FTR Headquarters SSB Guwahati and the bid document download and online submission started on 23 December 2025. The bid submission deadline is 8 January 2026, with bid opening scheduled on 9 January 2026. Eligible bidders must have completed SITC of off-grid PV systems of at least 7.50 KW for Central or State Government, PSU, within the last seven years.
