Sova Solar showcases high efficiency TOPCon module at RenewX 2025

At RenewX 2025, Sova Solar presented its 580 W TOPCon module with 22.48% efficiency, based on M10 wafer, 144 half-cell design and micro gap technology.

West Bengal-headquartered solar module manufacturer Sova Solar showcased its latest TOPCon glass-glass module at RenewX 2025 in Chennai, India. The module, rated at 580 W with an efficiency of 22.48%, is designed for utility-scale applications. Built on the M10 wafer format, it features a 144 half-cell configuration, 16 bus bars, and micro-gap technology. The product comes in a glass-glass design, measures 2,277 × 1,133 × 35 mm, and weighs 31.2 kg. Sova Solar operates with a 1.3 GW module production capacity in India, manufacturing both PERC and n-type modules, available in mono and bifacial variants. The company has delivered 52 MW to NLC, 200 MW to Hyderabad, 70 MW to Maharashtra, and supplied modules for an NTPC project in Odisha. All of its modules are ALMM-listed and DCR-compliant. Looking ahead, the company is planning a 1.2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility and targets further expansion in Odisha by 2026.
