Prostarm Info Systems, an India-based provider of IT and renewable energy solutions, has secured an INR 13.43 crore (~ $1,477,300) contract from South Eastern Railway for the phase 2 of a PV power plant. The contract has been finalized through competitive bidding, where Prostarm Info Systems has emerged as the reported L-1 bidder. The agreement has covered EPC responsibilities for grid-interactive PV systems installed across multiple railway sites at SRC Jurisdiction division, under Phase 2 of South Eastern Railway’s solar program. According to the announcement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning activities have been included to ensure operational readiness under defined project terms. The company will also provide comprehensive maintenance services for five years after commissioning, as stipulated in the contract terms.
