Solarium Green Energy Limited, based in Ahmedabad, has been awarded a rooftop solar project by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited for installation at the Salem Steel Plant in Tamil Nadu. The Notification of Award was valued at about INR 8.05 crore, excluding GST, for a 2.083 MW capacity system. The project was tendered under NVVN’s nationwide program for discovering EPC rates of grid-connected rooftop solar projects above 1 MW. The scope included equipment transportation, inland transit insurance, installation services, civil works and implementation of safety measures. According to the award terms, the project was scheduled to be completed within 180 days.
